Life Journey Church was launched in July of 2008. We started out as a small group of believers in a home with a vision to serve Prosper, TX and the surrounding communities.

 

Our core belief is that the local church should be a community of people who encourage, sharpen, celebrate and mourn together. We're all on a journey, but that journey is not meant to be walked alone. Hence, Life Journey Church was born.   

 

The small group of believers in our home soon became a larger group of believers meeting at Loren Roger's Middle School in January of 2009.  It was there that we established our mission statement: To make disciples who love, serve and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  That has led us to host Easter egg drops, participate in community park builds, community home repair outreaches and create pub theology meetings.

 

We continued to meet in the school and serve the community until God opened up a new location for us in downtown Prosper.  Ironically enough, the 114 year old building used to serve as a garage and auto shop. Now it's been converted from a place for cars needing repair to a place for people needing repair. We moved in on August 22, 2017 and have been flourishing together there since. We are so excited about what God has in store and look forward to serving you and the needs of our community.
